Health Tip !!
Here's a simple fitness tip I came across to stay in shape sans the rigid exercise regime. The additional perk is it also helps to improve the skin tones.
All we need to do is drink half a liter water , one hour before break fast , lunch and dinner.
Well give it a try and let me know if it works!!

Bali - Certainly an Experienceee!!!
| Lake Batur |
| Mt Batur - Active Volcano |
The main deity is carried around on a palanquin accompanied by a band playing music. Men get to do this while the women dressed in their traditional attire carry the offerings required for performing the prayers.Every body in the temple perform the ritual in unison.Balinese Hinduism is derived from the traditional Hindu values.
They worship Brahma ( The Creator) , Vishnu (The Preserver) and Shiva (The destroyer) represented by Red , White and Black colors respectively.I just forgot to elaborate on the traditional attire - it is called Sarong and Kain. And even the foreigners have to follow this custom when entering the temples. Yeah .. you got it right.. we did wear those attires!!And we were lucky to witness such a procession at Pura Kehan Temple ,the second largest temple and be a part of it.
Celebrations have always been a part of Balinese culture. They celebrate death with as much fervor as they welcome birth. This is a cemetery at Monkey forest, a reserve for more than 350 primates ( Well... in simple words --monkeys ).

Now talking about monkeys, I have had close life threatening encounters ( an extra dose of exaggeration ) which made my dear family members go in splits in the Uluwatu Temple( Temple on the coral reef). One tried to pounce on me while another tried to snatch my bag. Well I did make a ruckus which was quite a fun to witness.(Found it from laughing faces around...!!!)

The Barong is the almost synonymous to Bali ( Not in literal sense though!!) Anybody visiting Bali will definitely know what Barong is.. It is a mythical creature representing the good spirit. The Barong dance is the most famous of all dances. And as a remembrance , we had Barong drawn on our T-shirt - the Bathik art , which is very famous. Hot wax is used for this purpose. Silver smiths are also very famous here. These 2 art forms widely flourish in Bali.

First Dancing Lesson!!!
Initially, I was apprehensive about my dancing skills and never gave it a try. But trust me it was an exhilarating experience. Though our dancing talent needs to be fine tuned, we were thrilled to shake our legs to some of the latest Bollywood peppy numbers like Sheila ki jawani , Munni Badnam hui, Rang de basanti etc. We just kicked up our heels out at the dancing studio.
We were out of sync, out of breath and missed our beats. But all that mattered the most was we danced after 3 months of planning it out.I m glad we made it for dancing was the top most contender in my inhibitions list.
So what's next??? Well we have decided to join the classes :)
PS: No worries....Classified Performance... Only for 511 housemates.. :)

VOID self (temporarily out of reach)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At times I go through a plethora of emotions and I m not sure why am I so perplexed????????? I totally lose interest in whatever I do and I guess each one of us at some point of time, pass through this phase of emptiness. Well I call this “VOID phase”. Life is wily at times and we find it monotonous and flat. At this point we feel stagnant and sluggish, a state where anguish soars and level of confidence sours. Maybe this is why we go through this phase. I am trying to figure out the reason solely based on my experience. This phase of “nothingness” (as I call it) turns me into a completely new person I am unaware of for a brief period of time. I am not referring to the usual mood swings that we go through due to various emotional factors.
In this intermittent state, I remain aloof, barely talking to people. May be because I don’t want them to know I could be so emotional or may be a bit of pride in admitting I m distressed. I become arid and all liveliness drains out of me. Even the smallest discomfort can make me shed tears (though not very often). An all time low confidence courts me and I am in constant search for reassurances from anywhere and anybody. I just turn into a zombie (not generalizing… this is about me...)
Off late I have started doing a bit of research to prevent falling into this momentous unapproachable status. One thing I have found that trying out new things or pursuing what we like the most can definitely push us on and on. Actually I feel better when I have vented my thoughts through this write up. So I just figured out a way to avert the “out of reach” state. So it’s just that out of bloom we find our fixes. And this effort has to come from us (self realization!!!).
I haven’t done with the research part and it will keep continuing. Next time I will definitely come up with a lot more ways to stop drooling back to the VOID state.
